4 stars for me. Like it a lot; there are a few other Wilder films that are completely my jam plot-wise.

I want her car. It is a great film, and the issues it tackles are still around today in a soulless, cutthroat industry. I love it, and it is on my own rewatch rotation. Although _Sunset_ _Blvd_ is a top-tier movie for me (especially for Swanson's performance), in my view _All_ _About_ _Eve_ from the same year is right up there as far as writing. Agree that Holliday, though very likable, wasn't on the same level as Swanson or Davis for Best Actress that particular year.
