Idk why but every time I see Michael J Fox I get so emotional. He was just such a huge part of my childhood and his optimism is so inspiring. It’s not inspiring in the typical “feel good” way — it’s a more realistic, slightly bitter sort of optimism that I really understand. Acceptance is a very hard thing when you’re faced with something that everything in your body and soul does not want to accept. And strength comes from “well, this isn’t ideal — But I’ll make do with it.” He doesn’t deny the hardships and shittiness of his situation but he also doesn’t let it control him. Idk I just really appreciate this guy, his work, his story. Always glad to see him even if I get emotional lol.

My psychology teacher was suffering from Parkinson's almost as bad as Michael in this vid while he was educating. I'm sure it was no fun to him. But he was good at the subject, and I hope he realised what good job he did in education.. one of the kindest people I've ever met.
