Magisto takes your phone camcorder video/s and edits them into pretty cool productions with special effects and background music.

It should, though I would suggest using on lte or Wi-Fi since the clips are uploaded to their servers to be turned into the video

Also, I noticed that on the video, it actually allows different parts of you talking, with the music playing as well, how did you do that?

Hey there - I wish I had the answer for you but I don't. I tried with my phone but couldn't duplicate your problem. It MAY have to do with the settings you have in your default video recorder... Otherwise, I'd say email the app developers and see if they have an easy answer for you.

Best, I can tell, yes. Probably because since the cutting /editing is somewhat random, you'd never get good dialogue, so having music makes it more of a montage where any dialogue is just background. You could "trick" it by using an mp3 that actually has no sound to it.

I wanted to put 3 videos together with my own narrative....it took 2 hours and totally cut that narrative part off and only showed randam parts with music....very disappointed. Is there a way to do that with the app...without any music that is and retain the narration? It was a demonstrative and narrative kind of thing, with all that cut off, there is really no meaning to my video.

Yeah, it's really only good if you are willing to pay to have a hard copy yourself which you could then upload to YouTube on your own. I'm learning the "free" version is too restricted/controlled for my taste too.

Hmmm... That's interesting. I'll have to look at it closer. That would make sense I guess. Would be better if they let you choose the order!

There is no "great" video editor for Android that I have found. The other one I've been playing with is called WeVideo - it allows much more user control like you're looking for, but I have had major issues getting it to work properly. You could give it a try...

how can u upgrade to paid version? Because the free version, it doesn't really let you download the video

No, not with Magisto. It's not really made for that. It's more about getting a group of related videos/pics together and allowing Magisto to work it's magic and turn them into something kinda cool. You are looking for real video editing software. The closest thing I've found to that is WeVideo - it works more like a standard Video editor. You can put clips in the order you want, edit their length then add a music file (or in your case a narrative). I'd suggest checking that out.

At the end - after it creates a video, choose "Save to Gallery" (It's right below the video and above all the share buttons) - That will pop-up a screen for you to purchase a one-time download (99 Cents), a one month subscription ($4.99), or a One Year subscription ($17.99)

That was just random. Works best with short sentences or having pauses between sentences I think...

WeVideo is the best I've found - I did a review of it too. But it's still not like editing on a PC, but it's the best I've found for Android.

Actually I'm pretty sure it's in chronological order of recorded. I just made a couple videos myself.

I'd be pissed too. I have only used the free version. I'd contact my bank and try to get the money back!

Seems like the samsung pre installed video maker is better than this because it does long vids not just short 1s

Nope - I don't think so - seems pretty random
