You just made me doubts clear. Thank you so much. I am so poor in mathematics but your videos are helping me a lot.

At 3:19, X = -3 is not a vertical asymptote, because (X+3) is a factor of the numerator. So only X = =-5 is the vertical asymptote.

do we always use long division when we have oblique asymptote ???? @patrickJMT

Could you please give examples of how to find a rational function when a hole. vertical asymptote and slant asymptote are given?
It's like the opposite when a rational function is given and you have to find the asymptotes. thank you

what if we didn't cross or we have forgotten to cross the (x+3) and so we devided the whole function the oblique asymptote is considered as a wrong ? 🤔 and thanks a lot for the explanation hope you'd answer me ! 😄🤓

When you crossed out (x+3), does that make a hole in the graph?

Hey, awesome video. one question, the function can b written as g(x) = Quotient x Divisor + Remainder. Why cant the denominator of the remainder be the quotient instead of the divisor?
