Find x and y intercepts of a rational function

👉 Learn how to find the x and y-intercepts of a rational function. The x-intercept(s) of a function occurs when y = 0 and the y-intercept(s) of a function occurs when x = 0.
To find the y-intercept of a function, we plug in zero for x and solve for y and to find the x-intercept(s) we plug in zero for y and solve for x.
