Love this one. To me, the jasmine note is key. It's not particularly prominent, but it helps make this scent unique.

I've had this for a good while now, and I need to wear it more. Never considered it to be a green smelling frag, but the jasmine, clove, muted citruses, and woody aspects were quite nice from what I can remember. A soft gentlemanly masculine frag, but very present w/ respectable performance.

Smells of a bygone era. Along with Creed's Bois di Portugal that you mentioned, I would add Oscar di La Renta Gentlemen & Richard James Saville Row have similar scent profiles to Caron Le 3 Homme.

Aramis Havana is my frag of the day.

Unless it was reformulated within the last 7-8 years, I also remember it smelling almost buttery smooth w/ a hint of sweetness when I first smelled it 16 years ago. Cartier L'nVol reminds me of Le 3rd man a bit.
