Played one of these, really nice guitar. Immaculate construction and beautiful sound. But Gibson build quality and quality control varies wildly so *definitely* try before you buy imo. I wouldn't bet on all of them being so well put together as the one I played (which was easily better than the vast, vast majority of Gibson Les Pauls I've played).

I go to the guitar shop and pass up their $300-$500 offerings every time. Why would you pay $1500 for an Epiphone. Every single one I have tried has an issue with either the guitar or the setup.

The point about Greeny was the subtle, beautiful tones it could create. This guy only has one fairly crude setting.

over priced junk.. buy a les Paul studio plus for about the same price and get an American made instrument..mine plays sounds and looks perfect.. look to the left <
