Throughout YSDT’s residency at Duke, the company has engaged with students and faculty through workshops and discussions exploring the intersections of art and healthcare. In a recent workshop, led by Samar, Duke students embodied the patient-caregiver relationship, using movement, touch, and trust to reflect the dynamics of care.
This exploration echoes themes of empathy and human connection in healthcare within “Last Ward,” on stage November 15 and Saturday, November 16 at 7:30pm at Reynolds Industries Theater.
