I got Rebel Galaxy for free. Thought it would be some shitty 2d or 3d space strategy game. Started the game. 10 minutes in:"Whoa this game is great" 2 hours in:"I love this game" 5 hours in:"Best space game i ever played." And i liked the music the first time it started.

It was supposed to be a simple smash and grab. A dead drop in the middle of an ice field. Simple enough. The post mentioned it was potentially a suicidal trap.

Of course...no one could account for good old Sheriff Murphy and his favorite law. In the form of a surprise Militia fleet.

I hadn't exactly been on the good side of the Militia ever since that mining incident. And today certainly didn't seem to improve their opinion.

My last thought before I decided to put my brand spankin new engines to their ultimate test with two different forces barring down on me?

The beginning of this song is absolutely perfect for cruising across empty space, enjoying a little down time but still wary of sudden pirate attacks.

I've had the hyperdrive kick in at 1:50. Best timing ever.

I feel like this is the main theme of this game. No matter if you're in a fire fight, running away from a big fucking Red Devil fleet, or just roaming the galaxy, this skng always seems to play.


And it's fitting, because this game is basically the wild west, but in space, with giant space lasers and death frigates that leaves you to the cold.

So sad this series died after two games. The soundtracks for both were just beyond epic. Easily some of the best video game soundtracks of all time.

Such a shame the second game was so generic. This game is a masterpiece in my eyes. Combat feels familiar and so unique at the same time, the graphics are gorgeous and the music is just * chef kiss *.

I just started this game on PS Now and it's surprisingly addictive, and the music is amazing. This is one of my favorite tracks.

This has the potential for one HELL of an MMO .. or a sequel that allows for joining a Faction ect ..
The fact that 2 guys made this ?! SERIOUSLY ?! its kinda hard to believe I mean Ive seen some games where hundreds of engineers work together an the end product sucked lol .. Rock on Double Damage !! I expect good things from you in the future !!
