I just listened to the lavender town music and I never got any headache or nausea

The reason behind the Illnesses was to do with a certain note being used as a constant in the background that caused huge migraines and even mental illnesses, this was only in the first editions of the games in red/blue/green(Japanese only version) and yellow. Once people had complained of this, gamefreak ordered all copies to be returned and they removed the chord in the theme song for lavender town and that is the one that we all know today
