I tried learning japanese. Learned katakana and hiragana with 0 difficulty.

Once i glanced at kanji and saw particles etc how it was structured i instantly gave up.

If you're broke ass just like me, Duolingo or learning in yt is a good place to start.

I learn Japanese in school and I love watching anime. It’s really cool when I watch anime and I can understand some things they say in Japanese

I seem to have caught “can’t learn and too broke” disease
It really does suck and I hear it’s very contagious

I've been learning japanese for almost a year now. Hiragana and katakana was easy to memorize. I tried learning 10 kanjis per day but I stopped on August. I was on my 1120th kanji that time. I'm so glad that I found your channel because it makes me want to start learning japanese again😁. I guess that will be my new year's resolution for next year.

I want to learn Japanese for 3 reasons. 1. I love their culture and find it interesting and unique

2. I plan to visit Japan In a couple years for maybe a week or two and wish to learn more of their culture and language before visiting

3. To finally accomplish my wish of watching animes without subtitles

Moshi Moshi. I have a few tips to learn japanese if you have no money:
1: Youtube videos, they can help with pronunciation and give you some apps to try.
2: Anime, although it’s not the best learning source, anime helped me learn a lot of japanese.
3: Textbooks and/or worksheets. I think this one is obvious.
Some things you should learn when beginning japanese:
1: Hiragana and Katakana: The japanese alphabets
2: Kanji: Kanji is the japanese writing style
3: Keigo: Keigo is different words based on which is more formal and which is more casual: Example- In english, we say thanks most of the time, but usually when its more “formal” like an interview we say “thank you or thank you very much.”
Hope this helps! Have a good day/night.

i dont speak japanese, but one of my favorite songs is written and sang in japanese. so, of course, i looked up the romaji lyrics so i can actually pronounce it because i can’t read the japanese alphabet(s). i can kinda successfully sing a few parts of the song and i am proud of myself
edit: 5 months later im learning japanese on duolingo and can sing that whole song now
btw its 愛して愛して愛して by kikuo
