Tbh, I find wicks are better at higher timeframes since refining it to lower timeframes includes a lot of information, but yea it depends on how you use it.

THis helped me lot, I was searching for this as IM confused when we draw trend lines /SnR do we draw to wicks or Body . If I understand correctly Im guessing its the body.

How it come no one ever did extensive backtests on wicks or bodies to use?

The truth is, it’s up to the trader to choose strategy based on wicks or by body. I made more mistakes taking both wicks and bodies into my system. Now i only use wicks
