Alcohol is horrible. I haven’t had a drink in 51 years. I learned very quickly at age 15 that there was nothing good about drinking. I spent a lot of hours over the past two years helping a 50 year old friend abandon his 23-year addiction to alcohol. He’s stayed sober, but it damaged his brain and his liver and contributed to other health problems. He likely won’t live another five years.
