How to Hit 3 Wood Off the Tee | Golf with Aimee

Question of the day:
When you hit a 3 wood off the tee, do you swing normally or do I have to put on a driver swing?

This is one of the most frequently ask questions.
My driver lesson talks about slight delay in the weight shift at impact, because the ball is teed up in the air.
So when you tee up a three wood.. do you hit it like a driver?
Or do I hit it normally, as if I’m hitting the 3 wood off the ground?

So many good little tips, cant wait to try them out on the range. That said, I use my driver swing for 3 wood and tee it up a bit higher than what Aimee suggests and get great distance and nice height and piercing draw (for 250 yards I will definitely give Aimee's tip a try as I sometimes loose the shot with over draw/hook.
