Mike Johnson rejects call to resign amid push to oust him as House speaker

House Speaker Mike Johnson said Tuesday he won't resign from his leadership post despite another effort from far-right members of his own party to vacate the speakership.

Sorry but I must have missed the bit where he explained why he failed to present the bipartisan bill which was developed with Republican Senators. Of course he won’t mention that because Trump wants the issue. If the Speaker can’t support bipartisan tough legislation then he needs to step aside. If a terrorist attack occurs because the Republicans won’t let the border deal move forward in the Congress, after getting passed in the Senate, there will no longer be a MAGA party!
