Matterhorn, Switzerland: aerial views from a drone

The Matterhorn's near-symmetric pyramidal peak is the most well-known of all Swiss mountains. It is one of the highest summits in the Alps but it's not the highest in Switzerland (this would be Monte Rosa, or Dufourspitze in German). The four steep faces, rising above the surrounding glaciers, face the four compass points – towards the north and in the valley below is the village of Zermatt.
