Building Bridges of Faith: The Church and NAACP in Ghana

The Savior taught us to love one another, to seek understanding, and to walk together in faith.

In this remarkable journey to Ghana, young fellows —supported by The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and the @NAACP —came together to deepen their understanding of history, promote racial harmony, and strengthen discipleship.

Through shared experiences, reflection, and the spirit of Christ’s love, they forged lasting bonds and gained a renewed sense of purpose in serving God and His children.

This Church is True! Our Savior will heal us through the Love for HIM and Heavenly Father and will bring us together as one as HIS children. The ONLY and MOST important identity of the Human Race. I am so excited what Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ is doing in our church and around the world! Amen!

"We believe all things, we hope all things, we have endured many things, and hope to be able to endure all things. If there is anything virtuous, lovely, or of good report or praiseworthy, we seek after these things." This is healing. It is good. ALL that is good comes from Christ, the Healer of all.

Love to see this kind of collaboration. Beautiful things happen when we acknowledge the past, reach across divides to build bridges, and work together to root out racism. I'm grateful for this inspired partnership and hope to see more of it!

“And they that shall be of thee shall build the old waste places: thou shalt raise up the foundations of many generations; and thou shalt be called, The repairer of the breach, The restorer of paths to dwell in.” (Isaiah 58:12).

It’s efforts and conversations like this that will heal the world.❤

Beautiful story! This experience truly moved me. Thank you to The Church of Jesus Christ Of Later Day Saints and the NAACP for making it a memorable one, allowing me to witness and learn more about my black ancestors. We can truly learn from this video that God is present in the details of our lives.

“It is not my job to forgive those who did my ancestors wrong by putting them in this dungeons and in this horrible circumstance. They need to seek forgiveness from my ancestors. I have forgiveness & I’m willing to move forward.”
He spoke truth that hit my soul, amen brother!🙌🏾❤️

Everyone and every group of people have made mistakes that hurt others. I love that these two groups specifically are overcoming their past to make a more loving and Christlike present and future.
