No offence, but I kept waiting to see examples of the firmware update and all I got was talk. You're also using a 12-100 F4, not the lens for bokeh. Maybe you should try the Sigma 56mm F1.4, 25mm F1.2 or 45mm F1.2.

I really enjoyed your video! Great colors and epic shots at the beginning. I would like to see more of the camera in action though, some examples of the autofocus, how the log file looks and how far you can go with the massive 237Mbps! Waiting for your next vid! Keep up the good work!

I just recently picked up this camera from KEH. I am really happy with it. For me the DoF equivalency ends up being good. On FF I tend to over do it so here I can trick my brain into being happy I shot at 2.8 but get a little more in focus

I sold all of my M43 ($6000 worth) in January and bought a Nikon Z6, Z7, Sony a7III, and an a7rIII and 2 weeks ago I bought an EOS "R"
6 months later I'm buying another
Because I miss all of the features of the EM1.2 and also the smaller cheaper lenses
But most importantly I really miss the fun I had with the Em1.2
I'll explain more in a video but I'm more excited about getting back into M43 than I am with all of these other cameras combined

i thought the same with the shallow depth of field but its actually a benefit in a lot of situations, don't have to close down so much for group pictures and esp when you need HSS, can shoot wide open, get more in focus and get more flash power. i shoot SONY but since getting this camera i haven't used my SONY in a few. its the camera i want to constantly use, light weight and fun, lots of features.

Underestimate these M43 cameras at your peril - they are great! Personally i will be going to the G9 when its time to switch from my G80.

The EM1 Mk2 may be a good camera, but a talking head doesn't persuade me to buy one. Where were the examples of "great focus"?

5:04 and Olympus makes beautiful lenses :-) I love the look of the 12-40 and 12-100.

This or nikon z50 or g9 for 4k autofocus and sharp 4k video, which is the best hands down

Thank you for the Video, I notice you had the 12-100 on the camera when talking about the update did you use it on the intro video? This camera is a gem that it is tough as nails no matter what you throw at it in any weather.

Really good work, but I have a all ready firmware 3.0 not work good auto focus c af moving the camera to subject lost focus.

Very nice Teppo. I have been an Olympus shooter for years. I also shoot Nikon, but very rarely anymore. You nailed it...great cameras, great lenses....and now with the new firmware even better autofocus! I just upgraded both my EM1-makr 2 and EM5 Mark 2 today. Also, Lefoten looks like a gorgeous place to shoot.
