I don't really see a problem with GW merging the sites.

My big gripe with it is that the new site looks like @55!

This is just to handle a couple of issues, the rebranding of GW stores to "Warhammer" stores, the Brexit issue, and allowing GW stores to get customers to order from the in store order point at the store. Also, it limits 3rd party the number of SKUs they can order by doing the "direct only" scam. They don't like FLGS or 3rd party resellers because they don't get all the profits. It's lame but there it is. I've had to suffer through some in store order point discussions at conferences. It is what it is.

It is convenient to buy Forgeworld now with site-to-store shipping to save on additional costs when wanting a simple necromunda upgrade kit or a single model. I've made a single-item purchase now and have been able to do just that since the site went live.

Games workshop's bad name? I think it's forge world's bad name they mostly want to get rid of, do you have any idea how many times "don't buy forge world" is written on the Internet? Now there is no forge world so all those warnings are irrelevant without context for newer ppl

I really don't like the new site. The font is just too small. Even with my glasses on, I can barely read the product names.

I must say that the website still misses this funny opportunity to make sure people don't buy titanicus models instead of the 40k ones. My little brother got into Warhammer 40K and was thinking of building knights and it took a good 30 minutes to tell him that they are different sizes.

Yeah I don't like it. I play mostly their smaller games, like Necromunda, which are now buried. One positive however is that FW stuff is no longer free shipping over $120 but just $65. If you like FW stuff that is ;)

They had only to add a new button on top labeled "Forgeworld".
That's all.

I have had them flat out refuse to replace products if they were not direct purchased from an official GW store or website. For example, bought a new sealed product from a retailer on eBay and had a broken piece in the sealed box. Obviously, a manufacturing issue as box was shrink wrapped and not damaged. However, they requested I exchange the entire product box with the retailer directly rather than just ship me the replacement piece. They went out of their way to explain that authorized retailers had access to replacement products and could assist me with exchanging the entire box.

This was a massive difference from the past where if I had an issue, they would be helpful and just send me the part directly. It seems like they want to imply that if that if you don't buy from GW directly that you can't get replacement parts anymore.

This site sucks. Half of it fails to work, my account info is hard to find, if working at all. Gift list I had built out is now missing… and on and on. Plus it looks and navigates like a turd. Wonder who built the e-commerce site because a professional services company could have done the job 1000x better.
