*This isn't an exact map where people that could be identified as Norse live specially after the expansion during the viking age, but it does give a good representation of what I was trying to say.

* These picture don't represent "exactly" what I was talking about but they do convey the point very well that's why I kept them there.

* I could have found far better examples then the Crimean annexation but for some reason I went with that ou well.

Great video.

I have read the entire book by Ahmad Ibn Fadhlan in original Arabic, it is a very enjoyable read where he talks about his journey and meets different races of people. Including Turks and Volga Bulgars.

My opinion is he was genuine in his opinions as he expressed some rather unflattering opinions and some positive ones.

I should add that reading some of the words he used was difficult to understand.

Anyway, keep up the great work, I expect you will be hitting 10, 0000 soon.
