I love how this dance is a farewell to a courtesan being bought off and they use it to say goodbye to this season. This anime definitely deserves more attention for how well paced the story is and how connected each episode is to one another.

I'm so happy that a second season is already confirmed. Here's hoping for more Jinshi & Maomao moments for the next season ☺

A touching beautiful moment where she reveals her hidden heart, a hidden wish for her mother’s happiness and a brief moment of respite for her estranged parents after years of tragedy.
