When I worked at a donut shop I worked there for 10 years… 16 to 26…. Worked my way up to assistant manager. I had days like this all the time! Going back and forth for various reasons. When I got offered a manager position I couldn’t handle the stress of being there what felt like 24/7 so I quit instead of taking the position so then they had to find a manager and assistant manager. Love my job now though, blessed the be a stay at home mom so I applaud you for being the owner and stepping in. I saw the owners of the shop I worked at many 10 times in person over 10 years and it was really only to get free donuts and probably for them to be a little nosey. They rely HEAVILY on their management for everything
