I used bicycle tire levers to get the 4th corner on, they are the perfect tool for this.

That took some muscle! I ended up using a wooden spatula to guide the last corner on. 😂

Warming up the plastic (in oven or water) makes applying guards much easier. It does not harm the material.

You guys using a different compound on the new edge guards? In the video it snapped right in with no effort! I'm here trying to put the black edge guards on for over an hour, and I'm a pretty strong dude. The rubber is ripping apart try to get that 4th corner. Very frustrating 😤

Does left or right really matter? After a few tricks they could be any way round.

Actually the process is not that simple! The force required to put these into place deforms them. Someone used boiled water to soften the guards.

Im trying since 1 hour
I ordered the freeksates on thanksgiving and got the edge guards for free.
But these are impossible to put on. I'm sure I've received a defective or not compatible edge guard

I couldn’t put them on after like 2 hours of trying; I figured screw it I’ll ride without them. Wish I came to the conclusion before my fingers got raw from the grip tape.

Buys edge guards to protect, the edges, damages his edges will putting them on, this is nearly impossible, i used a spoon to pull to last corner over.
