I’m currently growing an amaryllis. I planted the bulb just over a month ago, and it’s already growing leaves and a flower stock! It hasn’t started growing flowers yet, but I’m really excited for when it does! I can’t wait for it to be fully grown and to start blooming!

I'm wondering what your timeline is for trying to have these bulbs rebloom another year. When would you stop watering, cut back foliage, put in a cool space ( refrigerator) etc. to try to get new blooms for December? My plants are currently sitting as house plants, enjoying the sunshine. :)

My amaryllis is a disaster! It's got a giant flower spike, but the leaves are only about 6inches long and don't seem to be growing at all. What's wrong with it? Help!
