Besides what macieksoft said, you can see that the targets slow down and their altitude decreases rapidly. This is how real SAM operators see their targets go down.

When the four "spikes" representing the target on the velocity scope disappear, it means that the engine has been destroyed.

Its an thing called after action report.
Also you can observe target speed, altitude and a display that shows signal modulator for no cooperative target recognition.

I fly DCS (Lock On) for last 12 years but something like this you can't find there. In DCS Combined Arms are made like arcade game so until ED change that we can't talk about combination of Sam simulator guys with DCS.

Nice work but you should speak about things you doing and why is like that. I know to use S-125 Neva and volhov and dvina but not krug and vega. So i realy need to hear about procedure of using those sam sistems.

The procedure I did was lock F-14s up at 100km, shoot at 85km, when the doppler velocity reached +50m/s, turn on RAZRES FM, shut off at -50m/s. after first one hit, cancel computer tracking, hit red "Prolong" button, and lock up next F-14, very quickly
