Colorism is like a disease and other disorders like depression, anxiety, bulimia/anorexia become a comorbidity. It needs to be talked about more for the sake of mental health...good job!

I believe that we have only one solution. Just wanna do what we love without caring others opinions. Lets ready to face whatever rejection we may face in this Just don't care about other even it's our family members.

To end colourism, we should give some brain to people we know which would be very difficult
It should be us being as responsible parents in future we should teach our kids that beauty doesn't come from fairness, every skin colour is beautiful ❤️

Wake up! You are not a minority with so many dark skinned people in this world. Don't let anyone brainwash and marginalize you.

And who the f**k cares if anyone finds you beautiful or not. It's their problem. And does beauty define the value of a person anyways?

Why are people so obsessed with being perceived as beautiful? It makes me sick. By accepting that your looks defines you it's YOU who is giving away your power and dignity to other people's perspectives.

Start shutting up people who make demeaning comments. When people start commenting about my dark skin I proudly say that I am of South Indian/ dravidian heritage. They see that I love my heritage and so they know it's not a weakness that they can target.

My beautiful young sister, here is a suggestion: do not allow your sense of self worth and beauty to be defined by others. Embrace your skin tone and wear it proudly. Feelings of inferiority because of one's skin tone is at least in part caused by colonization of various parts of the world by member sof lighter-skinned groups (races). In order to impose a kind of subservience and feeling of inferiority upon the colonized, the colonizers resorted to every trick in their toolkit to instill their feelings of superiority into the very psyche of the colonized. One of those tricks was skin tone. This sense of inferiority has perpetuated for centuries, all over the world and caused the colonized peoples of the world to associate "light" with "might" and superiority, as well as to allow the colonizers to define what is attractive and beautiful. Darker-skinned people all over the world should reclaim and embrace their own standards of beauty.

Lol at colorism term. Call it what it is.

Btw Indian men date and marry Caucasian women yet Indian women refuse to date or marry Caucasian men. Double standard ?
