Thank you for giving us true unbiased reporting and journalism. Everyone could learn something from you! Giving us clarity and honesty.. claps for you! The information we gathered from this video is extremely useful, and I'm working on my own study to share with my home buyers. I have my own opinions about this bill, but I hope to share the information in a clear and communicative way that does not pose any bias or opinion, no matter how I might feel about it. Respect!

Is it just me, or is Andrew Finney extremely wholesome

I feel like this program only benefits large cities the most. AMI where I live is 54k thats crap wages for my career field. I would have to live in New York to benefit from this program at a higher cost of living. SHAM!

So, let's say a married couple applies together. One isn't a first gen home owner and one is. How will that work?

This seems like a good program, however the terms of eligibility are a bit convoluted.

So basically its another program to help the poor. Not the struggling middle class.

Can you do a video on all the programs like this. It would be really helpful. Thank you 😊

Could it used for a mobile home ?

Also, would siblings qualify? Like myself and my family ... then my brother and his family

Love the info! Thank you! Already pretty well researched on the racial disparities in the housing market but I’ll definitely listen to that podcast. Glad we are making progress but there’s still definite issues and I’m glad they are finally being addressed. Even now if we put our home insurance in my name it’s 70 dollars cheaper a month than if we use my fiancé’s name, even when his credit is better than mine, he’s older than me, and I’ve never owned a policy 🤦🏻‍♀️ guess the difference.

Thank you for teaching about these programs!

Hey so I am super late to this but I hope u can see and answer a question I have for the part where you said to be considered a first home owner you said you can be considered that if your parents never owned a house my parents bought a house but they are paying it off does that count ? I’m not sure that’s why I’m asking

The bill is racist in the definition only. Your only reading it and I haven't finished listening to but if it walks like a duck and quacks like a duck it's a duck

If I don’t know a damn thing about my father his past his debt he never stepped up would it still negatively impact me?

Hi, my question is, can my Daughter and Son in Law qualify if we own our home and my Son in law's parents are renting now and always have rented his whole life. They never owned a home, plus my Son in Law is half American Asian. There income is well below 1.2 X AMI.

I think its a great idea to encourage home ownership, especially for first generation homeowners, however I dislike that race or ethnicity need to be brought into the equation. As a 27 year old Mexican American, I have never been impacted by Jim crow laws. If someone has racially discriminated against me it has been few and far between. My husband and I have been married for almost 6 years now and own 3 homes. I find programs like these almost insulting, as if to say that the government needs to hold my hand and baby me through life when I am perfectly capable of managing myself. Furthermore what about poverty stricken white families that live in rural America, or descendants Japanese Americans that were sent to internment camps. My point is everyone faces struggles in life regardless of race, and government programs should not include race as a factor. We all live in this beautiful country and should all have the same opportunities to reach the American dream.
