Callum McGregor reflects on the week as a whole under the new manager and gives his thoughts on a tough game against Belgium.

A double from Romelu Lukaku and a goal from Kevin De Bruyne give Belgium the three points in our European Qualifier in Brussels.

We're a tough team to beat, but we have to stop hoofing the ball up the field. We look best when we are playing it through the thirds (on the floor). Our full backs, holding midfielder and Fraser looked really good. Glad we have a positive feel around Scotland and Steve shows that he really cares about our team and the future of Scotland. Not just picking older players or English Championship players.

Scoreline flattered us. Men against boys and to think we used to be able to beat them comfortably back in the day. Shows how much their football has moved forward & how much ours has declined!

McGregor was completely anonymous in this game, should be dropped for the next match. The other two midfielders were excellent, however.

Scotland was valiant and tough to be moved, but what can one do against Hazard and De Bruyne when they play at such a level...

Whoever it was that held their hand up for offside during the first goal and stopped playing (think it was mclean) should be dropped, no excuse for that.

This lot are nothing short of a national embarrassment, totally useless crop of players in this generation
