It works Good enough. I can shoot supplies at my other base and they land near enough to make it worthwhile. 600m closer minimum. Better than trucking a whole bunch of stuff. Every time my storage get's full I'll shoot some supplies off to my other base and at some stage i'll go and pick it all up.
