Seems like the people in Siem reap respect the older rules i seen in smaller citys in Thailand och Lao and even in Vietnam over the years.

A lot of foreigners they confused between Cambodia culture and Thailand culture, Khmer New Year of Buddha Mahanikaya 2568 BE, Diffrent Thai new year Buddha Teravada 2567 BE.

Sr in Cambodia we called Sangkran ❤ Songkran is in Thailand and Thingyan is in Myanmar ❤ these 3 countries celebrate the same day
