Two scientists at the University of Florida are accused of locking their children in cages. Both are now facing charges of child abuse.

Imagine being that teacher and hearing this from your student... they probably felt sadness, anger, confusion, maybe guilt for not noticing earlier, and had to push all those feelings down to focus on the child's feelings and wellbeing. I'm glad they didn't just think the kid was telling stories and took it seriously

I think the first question the kids will ask them when they visit them in prison is "So what is it like knowing you will spend the rest of your life in a cage.".

I used to work with a guy for years until one day he stopped showing up for work. Then he and his wife popped up on the news where they locked their two kids in a room their whole life and they never learned to talk. Spoke to him everyday but never knew him at all.

Please check on the family that are caring for these children. If the parents did this, what about the family members that are caring for them now.

You never know what goes behind closed doors with people. Truly diabolical that there are people who treat children, animals and the elderly with such cruelty. Thank you to the teacher who listened to the child; who knows what would've happened to the children had she not listened and helped.
