Band:Grim Reaper
Album:See You In Hell
Year:1983

LYRICS:

can i make you an offer
you can't refuse

i kept my eyes on you
cause i tell you that you lose

and you can come with me
to a place you'll know so well

and i will take you
to the very gates of hell

See you in hell my friend
See you in hell my friend
See you in hell my friend
I'll see you in hell

Your choice's up then
how many sins can be yours

at my kingdom final choice
is yours

you can take it
any time that you need

next thing I'll borrow
all you've got to do is bleed

Come with me, i will take you down
to the very depths of your soul
and i'll make you burn

See you...see you in hell
See you...see you in hell

See you in hell

can i make you an offer
you can't refuse

i kept my eyes on you
cause i tell you that you lose

and you can come with me
to a place you'll know so well

like i told you
at the very gates of hell

In 1984 I was at a local carnival in my small town. I won a glass mirror of this exact album cover because I thought it looked cool as hell. Saved up and bought the record next. This song and cover always remind me of how great growing up in the 80's was. Best decade ever.

Haven't listened to this song in years, returned to it for a somber occasion. RIP Steve.

Man, there was a moment in the early 80s when metal was so mainstream I saw this album at SEARS in Canada.

Wow. Hadn't given this song any thought in ages. Just popped into my head...and here I am. 80's metal was and still is the best, IMO.

I just got out of high school, my drummer friend knew some guy who had some weed, we parked in the woods, I was in the back seat and we were getting ripped, and right behind my ears, cranked all the up, this starts playing and it kicked my ass. I left with the weed and the cassette. I'm still ripped, it still kicks my ass. see you hell in my friend.
