Ice Fishing for JUMBO PERCH!! (Drop-Shot Rig)

When perch move to main lake mud flats its important to be able to call fish for a distance. Putting to use a drop shot rig can be just the ticket for fooling roaming Jumbos!

Best tasting fresh water fish ever. Scale and filet but leave the skin on and deep fry. Delicious!

hey guys - the mayflies aren't hatching out of the bottom this time of the year. they live in the mud on the bottom. they swim to the top in the spring usually may change into a flying insect, lay their eggs on the rock and vegetation along the shoreline and die. thus their lifecycle begins again. Awesome fish!
