UN says 339 million people will need emergency relief in 2023

The United Nations is asking for a record $51.5 billion US for 'shockingly high' humanitarian aid needs, driven by the COVID-19 pandemic, the war in Ukraine and a global food shortage.

I remember a "Happy Days" episode, when Richie Cunningham said, (as a fight was about to break out at Arnold's diner: "We have the UN now. That means no or war! Why can't people act like governments?"
Because the people are not savages, as with the dictator formed UN. I notice I can't find that episode anymore on YT. It was a funny one. :)
