We’ve gone over who the most good and evil characters are in the Jurassic Park and Jurassic World universe. But watching a series filled with carnage and death, we had to ask ourselves:

Who met the most gruesome end?

After all, being devoured by dinosaurs is a really grizzly way to go.

Cathy, the girl from the Lost World didn't die. Hammond explained the situation to Dr. Malcolm, and stated that she was injured but definitely survived.
Again, can not stress this enough: Cathy *DID NOT* die!

Eddie technically wasn't stuck in the mud nor was he trying to get away, his vehicle had a tow cable connected to the trailers that were hanging off the edge of a cliff because he was trying to keep Ian, Sarah, And Nick from getting taken with the trailers while they were climbing the rope he tossed to them

Eddie's death is one of the most haunting things in this franchise!! Poor guy didn't deserve that fate.

I don't recall Cathy being devoured by the Compys. Yes, she was attacked by them, but I seem to recall John Hammond telling Ian Malcolm that she was fine.

Cathy was actually confirmed to have survived as her survival is mentioned by Hammond himself and only the danger she was in is cited as the incident that allowed Peter Ludlow to take control of Ingen

Actually, the little girl didn't die. She was just seriously injured but her parents managed to save her and get her help to treat her injuries.

I knew Zara would be #1. I didn't remember the young girl from Lost World being killed, but looking over the comments, it appears she didn't die.

Eddie Car's death (The Lost World) was the most gruesome in my opinion, he had his car literally torn apart by the T-rex's before getting grabbed by his leg, tossed into the air, before being *ripped in half* by the adult T-Rex's with a loud snap. His had to be the most gruesome death so far.

In the novel John Hammond dies by falling down a hill breaking his ankle and is eaten by a pack Procompsognathus this was used in the lost world.

Mosasaurus had a second pair of jaws which they used to grind up their food so once Zara had been swallowed by the Mosa she would feel the pain of being GRINDED ALIVE so its only fair to say she had the most gruesome death.

When Dominion comes out, be sure to update this list, and acknowledge your mistake about the little girl getting eaten, since that never actually happened. Zara was the first female character to die in the series.

Zara’s death was more brutal than you think, Mosasaurus had a second row of teeth on the roof of its mouth to make food easier to chew, so Zara would have been shredded in that mosasaur’s mouth.

There were some gruesome deaths in the novels as well: people were literally ripped to SHREDS in those books. And after everything Hammond did wrong, including putting his guests in danger by not caring about the dangers involved with keeping live dinosaurs in the park, he got what he deserved.
