I'm an Englishman and i can say our military is absolutely pathetic at this moment, our country is falling apart, we are broke, exodus of wealthy, 11000 millionaires gone in last year, people are getting poverty stricken, Starmer allegiance is to Davos, he said so himself on camera.

I'd agree with Larry. Europe including the UK industrial output is dire. Thatcher changed the UK to a service economy back in the 80's and since then its been all downhill.

Without Russia as an "enemy" or "threat", they'd have great difficulty justifying their military spending ( and the various commissions etc paid on procurement of mil supply) to the voters.
