JBL Tune Flex True Wireless Review: Flex or Fail?

preview_player
Показать описание

The JBL Tune Flex True Wireless are Bluetooth earbuds with an active noise cancelling (ANC) feature. Unlike other earbuds from JBL, they have a flexible design, as you can use them with silicone 'Sealing' ear tips for better noise isolation or with their 'Open' fit, which allows the buds to rest outside of your ear canal instead of entering them.

Bought the Tune Flex yesterday. $79.99. Plan to use the for working out and jogging. Good fit, good sound, fast charging. So far so good.

Good review. Sounds like 235nc may be better re seal and ANC.

Love these because they sound great without going very deep into your ear.

I'm on my 3rd pair in half a year because after a month or two they stop connecting to the pins in the case and they don't charge anymore. This has been the case for all of my pairs.

Going back for warranty again again again tomorrow!

i bought the jbl tune flex like 6 - 7 months ago, and i got the issue with the left earbud, it doesnt charge anymore, like i cant properly connect to the pins in the case, i cleaned, try other things and nothing, it doesnt work. (im impressed that i read a lot of comments and posts about issues with the jbl earbuds, and all got the same issue with the left earbud, not the rigth). Really dissapointed because im huge fan of JBL for the JBL GO products. The tune flex has a very good sound quality, but the issue with the charge is unnaceptable.

Had them for a year. Very disappointing. I think they are capable (with equalisation) of producing pretty good sound with clear bass, but their fit is pretty bad and the charging case is atrocious. More often than not, they don't turn off when placed in the case. When I got them, they were pretty expensive and I accordingly find their shortcomings unacceptable. It's not the brand that it once was....

Tbh for 50$ I didn’t even expect them to have noise cancellation, so I know it’s not so great I have my AirPod pro for that but on the go you can’t go wrong, one gripe they do hurt a but with the silicon tip even the smallest one.

Update I ended up returning them because they were way to painful for my ears and not designed properly they seem to be too big where the part that goes into the ear. I got the AirPods Pro 2 instead I know this is not a comparison, since I basically lost the original ones I had.

I have them, 1 pair has already been replaced because the left side went almost silent, bass went away from both as well. The new pair have the same problem, so I'll just send it back for another replacement. Getting a bit disappointed, because the shape of the eartips are good for me. Doesn't hurt, neither pops out often from my ears.

I had to return my Tune Flex to JBL. Twice! The left earbud did not hold a charge. In both sets. I am returning them to JBL and replacing them with another model.

What EQ setting would you reccomend for the most neutral sound profile?

Maybe I just got lucky and got a pair with a better battery, I've used my pair for the last 9 months at least 5 days a week 8 hours straight at work and rarely have my battery die on me. Usually I get 8.5-9 hours before the low battery warning and about 30 minutes of use after the first warning before they power off.

very disappointing device, i got them in around january-december and 1 hour ago my left earbud stopped working, some friend recommended for me to remove the mesh but its still impossible for me to even find how to do that. this device is not only expensive but very much a scam.
this is my 3rd jbl device and i advise you,
please do not buy jbl. its a hurt for your wallet and a disappointment to your ears
