Starting and driving my Volvo 764 GLE from 1983, with a straight six turbodiesel engine. (D24T) straight pipe. Walk around the car, engine view.

I just bought a 86 740gle td that had been abandoned for 7 years (in finland thats a death sentence for cars) and it startet up nicely, had nothing done to it. Of course it leaked a bit of diesel, but it ran fine

This example is informally known as the 764 GLE D6T (D24T turbo diesel). For 1986, it was renamed the 744 GLE D6T.

What id like to know is what needs to be done in order to fit a decent sized rim on the front without having to use spacers....? Seems like the struts are in the way on mine...
