I love learning about Queer history. I struggled to identify as a lesbian for so long because it was thrust upon me in a derogatory way before I was ready to accept it. I face similar struggles with Butch. It is probably the label that best describes me, but there is such a stigma that comes with these words sometimes. It’s hard to choose to align yourself with them (in my experience).
