That's the question that Eidos and Square Enix needs to answer... We been waiting for that answer since Mankind Divided was released... And there is another easter egg about this mystery behind the Tech Noir shop there is a guy that you talk to him and gives you a very creepy dialogue: "Who is in the box... I know... It is you, you been in the dark too long".

Anyone new to this clone theory, here is what you have to remember. It is very likely that Adam Jensen in MD is a clone, but it is also the original Adam Jensen as his whole memory was transplanted into the new clone. Of course, his memory has been tempered a bit but it is still the original Adam continuing his life in a new body.

Alex was called the third Denton prototype, well we know that Alex and jc came from Paul that makes Alex the second not the third right? My theory is that Paul is a clone of adam thus Paul jc Alex are the 3 Denton prototypes from Adam which makes sense since "Adam" is a name given to the First father

It's really dumb that you can only see this if you go on the one and only optional main quest.

I didn't know this was in the game until literally just today because every time I played the game I always followed the lead of the bomber rather than the heist.

We're probably never gonna find out what the answer is. That third game has been cancelled and if another deus ex is made, will likely be another reboot. I think it's pretty much over for jensen and this deus ex story.

I don't think that is the original Adam mainly because he looks way to old.

So, then the game is all about us humans playing god. Adam, the first android so to say. Like Adam the first human. He was created with a special background like his DNA being able to accept any augmentation...Yeah if you are fully android of course you are able to take in all augmentations. All people around him played their role into making believe that he was human.
