Please in addition to whatever we learn from this movie, lets learn to sincerely and intentionally pray for pastors. I once had a dream about a very popular man of God. In my dream, he was into immorality. I was so shocked and ran for my life and he sent people after me to catch me. Now i had this dream the same period i discovered that his "friend" whos a popular pastor in my town was a chronic adulterer and even rapes uncooperative ladies. Sometimes i feel this dream might be my mind indicting him because of his friend but men, that dream was so vivid, i havent been able to forget it. Even if its just my subconscious, it taught me to be more intentional with praying for him and other men of God. Please pray for Pastors AND their families- they're on the frontlines and need us to cover their backs but they hardly have anyone praying for them geniunely. I'm a pastors daughter so i kinda know what im saying. God bless you if you read this far.

I think the issue stems from how people in the body of Christ define a power couple / kingdom couple . We make it seem as if it’s only when a celebrity Christian marries another celebrity or popular person then that’s a kingdom marriage . In the real sense an unknown intercessor marrying someone who is also following the purposes of God is the true definition of kingdom / power couple, because this is what guarantees that their home will raise Godly seeds and will be a center for kingdom activities.Reason above is why some people are pressured into marrying people based on face value or popularity .

When I was waiting on God to speak to me concerning my husband’s proposal, I threw away all that I knew him to be and heard of him( the good fellowship brother everyone hailed) and blinded my eyes to that… it took me two years to pray and to settle into courtship and the whole process was mediated by the marriage committee… all the while I thought I was been too serious with this will of God thing, I wanted nothing but the voice of God preceding my marriage and entire life and many things made me feel I was asking for too much but I just couldn’t proceed until I got that… Today I thank God I waited on God even when it was not a very popular opinion! May the Lord help every single person to make the choice to live and make choices by the leading of God!

I almost stopped watching it at the beginning when Sister Naomi didn't pray before accepting Pastor Tope. But at the end, I was glad I didn't stop. Let's look from Pst. Tope POV, as many of us are focused on Sister Naomi's agreeing to marry him without seeking God concerning it, I'm strongly against that too. But God helped Pastor T, through their marriage!!! He took a bullet for her! He somehow couldn't just divorce her! He didn't start beating her or something, God still carried out his will regardless. Let's remember God's sovereignty. He loves both Tope and Naomi, and helped them back to himself.

A lot to learn oo, the therapy part was apt and very much needed because so many of us believers still think it's all about prayers.

I'd lovee to continue, but in summary, it was a powerful movie!
