This movie deserves all of the awards. One of Sandra Bullock's best performance.

They chose the right actress to play the starring role. As a result, Sandra's performance didn't disappoint anyone, I hope she keeps starring in more Netflix's movies.

One of the most powerful movies I have ever seen. Sandra Bullock in the past has made me laugh so hard I hurt. In this movie she made me hurt so much that I cried. I pray that in her real life she is surrounded by people who love her in real life as much as we, her fans, love the characters that she creates for us in the life of fiction.

I loved it. I saw some irrelevant comments from “critics”. Those that can, do. Those that can’t, criticize, evidently.
This was a great story with outstanding acting, especially from Sandra Bullock. I have a friend that is a parallel to Ruth. Sometimes, people are in the wrong place at the wrong time and it’s very difficult for parolees to earn an opportunity to move forward.

Loved this movie. She really took on the character. Protective. Mistrusting. Harden by prison. But she knows what the truth is and she loves her baby sister. So many complex emtions and relationships. Its hard to know what is the right thing to do.

I absolutely loved Sandra Bullock in this movie also Viola Davis, to me they were perfect for each role.

I only just finished watching this movie, (I'm late I know), I will miss Sandra being up on the big screen, as she is taking time to be with her family. Maybe one day we will be lucky enough to see her up there again.

I wish Sandra all the love, joy, peace and happiness spending time with her family. You will be greatly missed by so so many but at least we have all your wonderful funny, goofy and serious roles to watch whenever we want. Thank you for your talent and for being a role model as a woman and mother on top of being an inspiration for so many.

Sandra you are a true ✨️ ❤️

Questions to those who have watched it. [if you keep reading, you'll see spoilers]

How did Bullock leave the house when there were people outside who would've heard the shot? And, Why didn't Bullock just let the cops know it was Katie who did it? She was only a kid, so wouldn't have done jail.

At the end of the movie, who was the young girl hugging Ruth? Wasn't Katie the one playing the piano?

The original show was British starring Suranne Jones who gave an incredible performance. I liked the British version better and it had a better ending.
