I just opened up Brooklyn yesterday. I am absolutely amazed by this line, Neca is killing it.
If I could get this level of detail and articulation for this cost on other media I love I’d be ecstatic!

Also, I like the wings they’ve been giving us but I do want a more closed option as well.

I absolutely agree with you about the wings. I wish the resting, or 'A' frame wings, came standard and maybe have the flying wings as an accessory pack or something. My favorite character is Hudson, and I really hope we get a mutated Wolf figure.

Definitely don't stop harping on those wings. I don't intend to either until we get something better. They really take away from what is otherwise a pretty damn good line. The right ankle on my figure doesn't have the same gap as yours so that could be a one-off. The right wing is the same though, noticeably looser than the left. Not as bad as Demona who was downright floppy and needed some modification to fix, but I do expect it to worsen. Especially with the hot, humid, weather incoming. I do like this one though, my favorite Gargoyle and figure so far is Hudson, but this Broadway might be number two. I do think they over-sculpted the torso a bit to make him more muscular than necessary. Just let Broadway be his happy, chunky, round, self. Looking forward to your thoughts on Brooklyn!

As far as favorites go, I always tend to relate more to Brooklyn that and I like his more daemonic aesthetic personally, as far as characters they haven’t made yet I already know they are going to make cold stone, so I am going to say Talon since they’ve never made a figure of him before and I think a big winged panther dude would be pretty awesome. Great review man looking forward to getting my hands on this guy

My favorite gargoyle is this obscure quetzalcoatI type that appeared in a Mayan episode on their world tour. Would love to see that design in figure form. Armored Xanatos is also a must have.

I am bothered that none of these figures can be put in a gliding pose with their heads facing up. It makes this type of wings useless. I understand that's difficult due to the design (mullets and what not) of these figures, but it's weird having super-articulated gargoyle figures that can't be put in a convincing gliding pose.

Actually, if you look at the Elisa and Xanatos pre-orders, they come with relaxed wings for Brooklyn & Demona. I think that will be the trend for future Gargoyle releases.

Demona is by far the best Gargoyle.
My most wanted would be Coldstone, I got him back in the Kenner Days with the switch panel in it's chest. Would be great to have it today.

You’re exactly right. I bought Goliath and was excited. Then the wings became more and more of an issue. A frame wings would bring me right back into this line but until then…I’m out. They’re too big.

If NECA ever surprises us with toon style Gargoyles, I think they will make the wings rubberized/bendy.

You can put the wings in hot water and mold them to your liking. That's what I've done

I met Keith David on Michigan ave in Chicago two years ago. Brooklyn is definitely my favorite.

I don't have a favorite gargoyle, in fact I wasn't a fan of the show. However, these figures look so well done that I might get at least one. I'm still deciding which one though.

I don't know who my favorite is of the group but the figure im looking forward to the most is the Steel Clan Robot. I think it just looks like a sick Robot figiwith wings. I don't know a ton about the show because I only made it through the first season, and even that was a while ago 😅
