Ohio used to be a powerhouse in America. It had every industry, lively and thriving state.

Some cities are doing okay but Ohio has fallen off quite a bit. When I lived in NY I always went to Cedar Point and Cleveland in the summer for concerts.

It has so many good sized cities. Dayton, Columbus, Cleveland, Cincinnati... some states have only 1. Much like Michigan and the other states in that region, poverty took a huge toll on those states.

I called this city my home for 12 years. I didn't not grow up there but I left my hometown at 21 and went Dayton. My first few weeks simply blew me away at the size of the city, how many jobs were available. For almost a year I relied a Phonebook and Map of the city with me so I could get around. I still call this city my home. The stuff I did there during ages 21 - 32 meant the most to me. I still call Dayton my home today. I'm planning a visit there in about 2 weeks. I know much has changed so I will just deal with it.

Cleveland, Cincinnati and Columbus, was at all 3 cities this weekend, Dayton is on my radar to visit as well.

The southern suburbs of Dayton are very nice. Centerville, Bellbrook, Washington Township, Miamisburg, Oakwood, Springboro, and parts of Kettering.
And Beavercreek to the east of Dayton is a beautiful upscale suburb.
