I gotta say. Toms such a great coach. Encouraging, calming, keeps things light, explains technique well, and is 100% focused on the student.

After his career. I can see him running a successfull mega gym, that trains pros, kids and grandmothers alike. And that's not always a given for a professional fighter, even former champions.

Tom is an absolute monster of a man, the perverbial “brick shit house”. He punches at the super-fast speed of a featherweight boxer with the power of steam train. Being hit by him must be like sprinting into a brick wall head first. A very worthy champion but the best thing is his personality and demeanour. He’s a genuinely nice bloke and doesn’t have to bad mouth people to get attention, he lets his fighting do the talking or should I say shouting! A great asset to the sport and a great ambassador for England and British martial artists/fighters.👍

Magnus has an insane ability to not just learn quickly but somewhat intuit the right technique for athletic movements of all sorts, even when they're way, way outside the realm of his own sports. Very impressive.

Never seen much of Tom's fighting actually but seeing you both be as appreciative of the others craft and geniunly interested in each others worlds was great to see. The footage of a massive human like Tom laying on the floor watching Magnus climb with the fascination of a little kid was wholesome as hell. I think keeping that type of geniune fascination with new experiences is one of the keys to live a happy engaging life.

Clicked immediately and let me say, this did not disapppint. My favourite UFC fighter and my favourite climber. The mutual respect shown in this video was also very admirable.
