Just got my self a mint condition 1987 rx7 fc , has 76000 miles original engine. any help would be appreciated. reading around people said vacuum leak or TPS , what do you think?

Which solenoid was it? Im having the same issue.

Ok. I have the same problem on my s5. What solenoid is it? I've adjusted my tps multiple times to no avail. I see people here figured it out. But won't enlighten anyone on which part it was. Which of the many solenoids are we talking about?

UPDATE!! it wasnt the tps, that just leveled it out a bit. A SOLENOID WAS STUCK OPEN, I GOT IT REPLACED AND NOW IT IDLES at 600 perfect

What does it do when you rev it? Does it drive normally under load? Check your vac hoses first. Spray some windex or wd40 on them and see if anything changes.
