Tucked away near the small town of Yandina in Queensland's Sunshine Coast is something very special.....the Spirit House

The Spirit House is located amidst tropical gardens, surrounding a peaceful pond with waterfalls, creating a serene atmosphere. With its award-winning contemporary Asian cuisine, welcoming staff and passionate chefs, the Spirit House is a must-visit for Asian food enthusiasts.

This is somewhere we have wanted to come for a long time, but kept putting it off, waiting for a special occasion. Today we decided to wait no more...join us for lunch and be blown away by the amazing food served in the Thai-inspired surroundings......

Hi, we're Beth & Paul from Brisbane, Australia and we love to travel!

Paul retired on 28th February 2020 and on the 1st March 2020, we set out on a 6-month adventure around South East Asia. This was a well-planned once-in-a-lifetime travel experience! It was our intention to show you how you can have a great time travelling without spending a fortune.

Our timing wasn't great - with the outbreak of the COVID-19 virus and subsequent global turmoil less than a month into our trip.

Until it is safe to travel internationally again, we turn our focus on travelling around Queensland and sharing everything our beautiful State has to offer!

Gosh I realised I first visited back in 2000 (when I was living in Brisbane...such was its reputation) with all my girlfriends. It has always had such a reputation here in SE Qld, and I have yet to meet anyone who doesn't know it. Food has always been outstanding and as you rightly point out, it's an experience in itself.
