I have this also their snes to PlayStation adapter. It's awesome playing 2d PlayStation games with a snes controller especially megaman games. It feels like what the Nintendo PlayStation would have been like.

I'm glad it's not just me. I was going through old games and I tried this a bit after Mario 64. Many people told me Banjo was basically an improvement. So I was expecting a real gripping moveset and game feel. But that was not what I got. Mario 64 felt like an acrobatic challenging platformer. Banjo feels like the true start of the "collectathon". Games built around exploration and charming characters...far more than actually gripping moment to moment gameplay or platforming.

i got this a while back, really love it. now i just need some more GBA games to use with it. Fun note, its also good for 2D games and the Game Gear games unlockable on Sonic Adventure DX

Imagine using the adapter for the original SNES controllers to be able to use them on an SNES Classic with this GameCube controller adapter. That would open up so many more possibilities like the Super Advantage, ASCII pad, etc.

Since I have a bunch of Sega Mega Drive controllers lying around (I grew up with the PAL Mega Drive II which I still have, never got a NES or SNES) I got the Raphnet Gamecube adapter for Mega Drive controllers last year, I wish I had it back when I played the GBA Castlevania games, at times I felt my left thumb would fall off with the Gamecube d-pad.

Nice video, I got a Raphnet adapter late last year, but the one for original SNES controllers which works with the 8bitdo retro receiver. I got it mostly for the Game Boy Player.

I bought the raphnet Gamecube to Super Nintendo adaptor and then stuck a Super Nintendo retro receiver on it so I could use my 8bitdo controllers on the Gamecube.

I also bought a Raphnet Saturn to Playstation adapter so I could connect my Playstation compatible fight sticks to the Saturn. You can also just us a PS2 dualshock on the Saturn with it.

Just received an adapter from a guy in the UK in a really nice 3D printed case for 25 €, that allows me to connect an original SNES controller or an 8bitDo Retro Receiver directly to the Gamecube. It offers several input modes and does not show any input lag at all.
This way you can use basically any controller that connects to the Retro Receiver, which is super awesome. SN30, M30, SN30 Pro+ all work great with this setup and you are really playing wireless for under 100 dollars, even if you have to buy both adapters and a controller.

I have the Raphnet GameCube to SNES adapter and love it. I use the 8bitDo SNES wireless adapter with it so pretty much any modern Bluetooth controller or 8BitDo controller works on it. I usually stick with the 8BitDo SNES style controller for that Gameboy goodness. Glad you're covering this, it makes Gameboy games control so much better on the GamCube player for a reasonable price.

Man this is incredible. Looking through their site they got an adapter that will do exactly what I want to do. I wanted to modify my arcade 1 up cab to use my gamecube because my son keeps asking me to do it and that link has adaptors that will make that happen. They got 1 from GameCube to USB so I can hook up a fight stick and mount it inside the cabinet 👍and now my son can have his Mario Sunshine cabinet like he keeps begging me for lol. Been looking for something for a few months now too so you made my day with this information so thanks for real🤘

I wish you could still buy the Raphnet NES/SNES to GC adapters. They've been consistently out of stock for quite some time and when I wrote them an email and asked, they never got back at me...

Cool product. Probably one of the best ways of playing those games on the TV I would think. But if you want to go more authentic I think you can use the Game Boy Advance link cable to play those games as well. And if I have understand correctly the Swiss Game Boy Interface software are much better to use on the Game Boy player.

Thanks man, just ordered one. I plan to pair it with my snes 8bitdo retro reciever so i can use my SN30 Pro plus with the gameboy player.
