Really like the interviewer as well. Finally someone who is not trying to dominate or impress the audience but just simply curious and authentic.

I am 17. I am glad and greatful that I found and read your book. It's AMAZING! Also because I heard this. You are one smart person. I can't explain how much you changed my life. Thank you so much Mr. Singer!

I can see why people are attracted to Michael Singer. His ideas about self image are interesting. Our identity is formed by what we are able to control and what we are used to day to day. What Singer is talking about is developing a stronger inner awareness, so that significant outside changes cannot damage the inner self. With this greater self awareness comes the capacity to make better quality decisions.

Thank you!! Been working on releasing my blockages. It's been three years the justified anger hurt and so much pain!! I'm amazed I was able to contain so much. Used drugs to numb myself but never realized how much pain I was carrying around. This separation within my mind and my emotions!! Repressed memories of trauma created another personality within myself to protect my inner child. As I forgive and release I feel empathy and compassion for a woman who felt so unworthy of love. Black sheep trying to blend in to receive love but that peg won't go in. Doing it for so long I lost who I am. Today I AM ENOUGH!!Thank you for inspiring me to finally speak out and stand in my truth!! Used to hold on for dear life thru the storms.. Finally learning to dance in the rain!!! Love and light!!!

Mr. Singer makes this all seem so easy. Actually, I know in my heart, God never intended for us to suffer so much but the world has just taught us to make it more difficult than it is. It's a challenge to be in the present but it's the best way. It takes work but it's all WORTH IT. Thanks, Mr. Singer. 🙏🙏🙏

Michael Singer quote highlights from this video: “‘Hi, are you in there?’ Then the question is, ‘Who is aware that they are in there?’ Our tendency is to think that I am the body—I am this package of body, and mind, and emotions … Self-realization, in its simplest sense, is to say you have realized who is in there—you have realized that you are not your mind, you are not your emotions, you are not your body.”

“Self-realization is that you have returned to the seat of being.”

“Whatever the mind is saying, you are watching that.”

“The question becomes, in the end, who are you?”

“People don't have a soul; they are the soul.”

“If I take away what you're aware of, you're still aware that it's not there. If I take away your awareness, it's over, I've turned off the light, there's nobody there. That's who you are.”

”You are aware of these different aspects of your being; you are not an aspect of your being.”

“You have become separate from who you are because you're busy paying attention to the object of consciousness instead of your seat of consciousness.”

“‘Distracting’ is the most spiritual word you'll ever use. It means it pulls you away from yourself … When something distracts you, it draws your consciousness toward it.“

“Ego is the masquerading self” (Yogananda) … “In other words the facade you pulled over your consciousness to define yourself.”

“Are you dealing with the core, or are you dealing with the facade? We are all dealing with the facade and trying to get the outside world to support the facade so that we don't have to deal with the core.”

“Spirituality is all about dealing with yourself instead of hiding from yourself.”

“The most important thing to learn is how to be okay with reality.”

“You shouldn't ever need a vacation. You should enjoy your life so much that every moment of it is as exciting as going anywhere else.”

“The minute you notice, you relax. That's the highest technique that exists.”

“No experience is traumatic. Your inability to handle it makes it traumatic.”

“You are a great being, and that is true of every single person that walks the face of this earth.”

“It's always R&R: relax and release.”

“There is nothing ‘bad, ’ there's just experiences that unfold that we learn from.”

“You are complete and whole within yourself. You need nothing.”

“Christ said, ‘You must die to be reborn.’ That is exactly what we're talking about. You let go of the personal self.”

“Your spiritual being is transcendental. That being is independent of this world. It is watching the world, but it is not of this world. It is the consciousness that is aware of what it's looking at.”

“The higher Self has freed itself of the bondage of the lower self by doing what? By knowing it's not ‘me’, and I don't have to spend my time servicing it. I can rest back into the nature of my being. That's the beginning of true self-realization and true liberation.”

“There is only one consciousness. Consciousness is not something that evolved through evolution. Consciousness is what was in the beginning and will be in the end; it is the beginning and end of reality.”

“It's not that your consciousness expands, it ceases to contract … As you let go of yourself, you start to experience the nature of who you are.”

“The experiencer merges with the experience—that's union.”

I figured out on my own everything he spoke about in this interview after my mom passed away and I ‘woke up’. I wish everyone could experience the perfection of life and true harmony.

The Untethered Soul will always be an all-time favourite for me. I also love how Michael Singer did the audio book, The Untethered Soul at Work. He has so much business experience as well as spiritual experience, so his ability to bridge the two was truly wonderful. Cheers!

Ooooh I'm on the right track!!! After feeling happy living my seemingly disorganised life I've realised that it's not disorganised at all. I just go with the flow, I'm not regimented, what gets done gets done, what doesn't is there for tomorrow. Thank you for organising and explaining some of my thoughts/feelings. x Very engaging to watch. x The only downside is those with a negative agenda see you as a walkover, accepting of everything, working on that, in the meantime I just say to myself OK, time to move away from the toxicity to somewhere more pleasant, bless them.

dyer, I have been a lifelong seeker. I have found Adyashanti, Buddha, Jesus, Mooji, Ramana, Prapupad, Tony Robbins, Eckhart Tolle, Caroline Myss, Wayne Dyer, etc etc etc.... But it took till 2019 to accidentally discover Michael Singer in the midst of yet another long bout of depression and anxiety. Wanting back the life that was I once had and lost through time, age, children going off to college, divorce, death, etc etc etc. Thank you for reminding me again of the transience of life and attachments to it.
