Wayzata Swims to Section 5AA Championship

The Wayzata boys swimming and diving team finished either first or second in every event to win the Section 5AA championship Saturday. The Trojans totaled 628.5 points. Spring Lake Park finished second with 367 points. Armstrong finished third as a team with Champlin Park fourth. Wayzata’s Ilya Johnson and Nick Kale won two races each with several other Trojans also winning events. The state meet runs Thursday through Saturday at the University of Minnesota.
